	About the ReStore
	The Decatur Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is an "on-going fundraiser" that sells new and used building materials and items needed for home improvements at a reasonable and affordable price. All the proceeds from the ReStore are recycled to build homes for individuals and families that are in need. The ReStore hours of operation are Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Donations may be dropped off at the ReStore anytime during the hours of operation. Decatur Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located at: 250 W. Cerro Gordo Street Decatur, IL 62523 ReStore hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. New ReStore Phone Number: 217-422-6044 Please call the ReStore to inquire about available items and/or schedule donation pick-ups. Please Note: Tax deductible receipts may be provided upon the customer's request. Contact Jim Sulwer, ReStore Supervisor for all ReStore inquiries and/or to schedule pick-ups. If you need to schedule a pick-up of large items, call the office at (217) 425-6446. The ReStore gladly accepts the following donations as long as they are in "good-working condition": Electrical - Usable fixtures, parts and supplies, ceiling fans that are in good working condition Lumber - Free of rot/water damage and excessive twisting Appliances - Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators, Microwaves, Stoves, Dishwashers Doors - Free of damage Kitchen and Bath - Cabinets, hardware. Countertops - Minimal chips/damage Plywood Sheathing - Half/full sheets Roofing Materials - Full bundles Landscaping Materials - Architectural Items - Columns, antiques, mantels, etc. Windows - Not broken Hardware - Knobs, hinges, locks, nails, cabinet pulls, bolts, nuts, screws Flooring - In good condition; wood, ceramic, tile and vinyl Paint - Full, unopened cans; paint or stain, latex only Tools - Hand, garden, and working power tools Plumbing - Usable fixtures, parts and supplies Siding - Vinyl and aluminum, full boxes only Carpet and Pad - New items The following items aren't accepted at this time: Furniture Electronics
